Christian Values

Australia's Roots

Australians must observe and understand the power in having a Christian nation, with morals that reflect it. As Christians we believe God sowed the morals of man into our heart. However that doesn’t mean we won’t manipulate them ourselves, bending morals to serve a particular agenda. To protect rights whether it be for men, women, white or black. Christian values must be observed. Christianity and its moral code have been practiced for over 2000 years, in these vast times and countries, great innovations and leaps in mankind have been akin to it.

We are seeing on both sides of the political spectrum, humans bending morals. We all know it to be wrong in our hearts but due to denying the presence of something greater that may hold us accountable. We willingly go against what we know is right. The consequence is instability in our identities, lack of cohesiveness between groups and even outright animosity. Everywhere we look whether it be movies, music and unfortunately schools, not just Christianity specifically but the basic morals that come with it, are shadowed and tested. Christianity, the foundations of Australia is being dragged through the dirt, which means Australian morals are being dragged through as well.

As Christians we are called to love everyone, treat others how we wish to be treated, and righteously judge our brothers and sisters to hold them accountable so we can all ascend and become greater people. We as Australians need to love everyone, treat others how we wish to be treated, and righteously judge our brothers and sisters to hold this nation accountable.

True moral accountability and an observance of something greater than man, will always be intertwined. Which is why we as Australians should embrace it.

CHRIST IS KING!

FREE SPEECH

A Aussie Right

All humans have free will, and because of this it is only natural we grow and discover all types of new ideas and ways of thinking. So it only makes sense that we should have the right to openly express and discuss these thoughts and ideas safely. To have this right, freedom of speech is a must. Ideas whether it be from the farthest left or furthest right, should all have the right to be safely discussed and debated.

Disclaimer: Freedom of Speech does not include calling for harm or violence. Saying we must bring violence or animosity to any group in a direct context is immoral and wrong.

Example: A Purple man calls for all of his Purple men to fight and harm all Blue people or Blue people that fit a criteria i.e. (all Blue people that wear jackets or are all male).

This does mean technically Purple man could give subtle nudges and instigate a potential violent act without speaking it directly. However this is one of the risks of free speech. In exchange it is up to whoever is righteous, whether they are Purple or Blue, to call this out and refuse to engage in such primal acts.

Additionally this would mean all “Hate Speech” and other such laws with goals to “protect minority/vulnerable groups” should be abandoned. As not only is it clear that these laws are not for the benefit of the weak, but a tool for the powerful. It also creates discourse in discussion and forces people to resort to violence and other means of dangerous expression. As well as the fact that it is simply better to know what opposing views can be said to you, and have a clear rebuttal in mind, than it is to silence them with abstract laws which could just as easily be flipped on you in the future.

Freedom of Speech must be absolute.

Mental & Physical Health

A Culture Crisis

We are in a mental and physical health epidemic. Suicide, obesity, self harm and lack of fitness, are rising issues unanimously across all ages, but especially with young people.

Only 20-30% of young men can comfortably run 5km, only 10-15% can do 10 pull ups. Only 45-50% of young men/adolescents participate in activity once a week. Of that only 10-15% are actively training 4 or more days a week. Fitness standards are dropping, and with this men's mental health. 75% of suicides are male, that is 3 in 4! Can poor mental health surprise anyone when fitness and physical health standards are so low?

1 in 3 deaths amongst adolescence and young adults is suicide! Let that sink in if someone is going to die at this age, 1 in 3 says it is suicide. Which is something 100% avoidable, and that is in our control. Every decade suicide rates rise at 10%. When is enough, enough? Chronic health conditions are growing, mental health issues are growing. All while we seemingly just double down on the same health standards and advice. Clearly this is not working, from the food pyramids to cushiony mental health campaigns that seemingly change nothing. Albert Einstein said “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results”. Australia recycling the same health advice is not working, has not worked and will not work.

We must reform our approaches to mental and physical health. Appreciate what has and is working. Stop promoting old dated advice and understand that every study and assessment done, ESPECIALLY in the health space, is often funded by industries that care more to monetize our sickness before our health. This is ever more so evident in the fact we are falling yet again and again, in the time of the most knowledge, information and resources to health, suicide, and obesity. Yet these problems continue to rise.
